Urban Doxology exists to create a soundtrack of reconciliation in the racially and economically diverse neighborhood of Church Hill, Richmond, VA. UD functions as the worship expression of the ministry Arrabon. Each summer, Urban Doxology hosts an internship which brings together young worship leaders to create musically rich, theologically sound, and stylistically diverse congregational worship songs, written through the lens of biblical justice and reconciliation. This internship serves in part to create the canon of UD’s music; a body of music created to give language for Christian communities to express lament and hope to God about the brokenness of our world within the context of worship. UD’s wide array of music transcends genre to curate a powerful, Spirit-filled, & transformative worship experience.
